On May 29, 2007 this site went over the 20,000 hit mark!  That’s really exciting as that’s 20,000 times that someone has searched for information, or read about urban living in downtown Des Moines!

This site started on February 14, 2007 and before June we’ve already had over 20,000 hits–not too shabby!

I wanted to take a second to thank all of the readers of this site.  It’s great that you enjoy your time here, and even better that you want to know more about downtown Des Moines!

Here’s a breakdown of how we got to where we are:

• February had 991 in just 14 days
• March jumped to 5,092 hits, an increase of over 500%
• April saw our hit count jump again to 6,654
• Through May 29 we have had 7,330 hits for the month

We are very excited to continue growing, and excited about what the future will bring!
