I got the chance this week to meet with BJ Knapp and see the Equitable Condos. In a word, wow.
The Equitable Building is a really great building from a visual standpoint. It’s right in the middle of the downtown skyline, so the views from the building are quite unique.

Saturday was the Central Iowa walk to cure juvenile diabetes. This is a great cause, and the Des Moines walk is always one of the best in the nation.
As you can see there was again a great turn out, despite the horrible weather we had on Thursday and Friday.

Comments (3)I want to address the most common response I hear about moving downtown. I’ve heard this from nearly every person that I’ve spoken with—that doesn’t live downtown.
It’s expensive!
That may or may not be true, as expensive is entirely subjective. If you compare a 1,500 sq ft loft here in Des Moines to say a 1,500 [...]
