One of the perks to my website here is that I get to interview a lot of great people. In case you haven’t met Tina Johnson, or as she likes to be called, T Your Downtown Gal, I’d like to introduce you to her.
She’s got a great perspective on her project, 418 Liberty, because she also lives there. Not too many folks out there selling downtown have decided to actually live downtown, or to take it a step further, move into their listing.
Tina has done that, and can share from a very unique perspective because of that. If you don’t know much about 418 Liberty congrats, Tina is here to answer your questions.
What is the best thing about 418 Liberty?
The best thing about 418 Liberty is “living closer to the center”. I love being in the center of all the exciting developments downtown. It’s an opportunity to spend time and live life your own way on your own terms……a place that’s just home, without all the work. I adore the character of the building yet the best of technology for a fabulous price compared to other downtown developments. What 418 Liberty offers is exceptional in comparison!
What sets 418 Liberty apart from the rest?
I believe what sets 418 Liberty apart from the rest are the following:
- Location and proximity to everything downtown…….especially the premier sky walk access. It’s the lifestyle……clearly dramatic dimensions for key people who love the city, want the convenience, and enjoy walking to the nearest eateries and events.
- The upscale materials utilized throughout this project
- The storage is hands down the best you’ll find anywhere!!! A fabulous same level storage room with additional storage available in the lower level for kayaks, canoes, bikes, things you’d normally see in a garage. We even have a wine cellar room created by one of our residents!
- I personally love the fact that I can play my music extremely loud, entertain large groups of people, or just play loudly with my daughter and know that others will not be disturbed. What’s below the surface at 418 Liberty is as impressive as the magnificent views from above. The floor, originally designed to support thousands of cabinets, desks & employees, is made of multiple layers of concrete, steel and stone - so you’re at liberty to make some noise of your own and keep the beat to yourself! (I’ve lived in other places where you can literally hear people talking through the walls, so this was very important to me)
- I also love my neighbors and the diverse type of people the Liberty attracts.
- Having a 13,000 sq. ft. gym within the same building truly sets us apart from any other project. If you’re someone who workouts out on a regular basis…….this is an awesome convenience! (not just a treadmill, or eliptical trainer…….this gym has the newest state of the art equipment)

Is there anything that could be improved at 418 Liberty?
If anything could be improved at 418 Liberty I think I would say the roof top accessibility. If a railing were placed around it, it could possibly be utilized in a much better manner. There’s a great deal to consider here, however, on the evenings I’ve gone up there…….I’ve really enjoyed the breathtaking views of the capital, 801 Grand and the sunsets! It’s just stunning and as an agent, I’d love to be able to advertise this amenity. I love the views from my balcony and very large windows, however the views from the top of 418 Liberty are absolutely incredible!
What size are the condos at 418 Liberty?
