All of us have dreams.  There’s things we want to do, to be, to have, to see, to experience and so on.  The problem that many of us face is that there is not very many people that are excited about your dreams, or will encourage you to pursue them.

I want it to be known that I want you to pursue and achieve your wildest dreams!  That’s why I’m sharing a huge event coming up on May 15th.

I cannot tell you how excited I am for this event.  All too often we keep our dreams inside because we’re scared to tell anyone.  And why are we scared?  Because we don’t want to get laughed at, we don’t want to be told we can’t achieve what we want.

I spoke with Mitch (www.doyouq.com) about the Big Dream Gathering–he told me there’s people from across the US that are coming to Des Moines to take part in this event.  They are excited about coming to a place full of dreamers–and folks encouraging those dreams.

I urge you, take some time to visit their site and think about what you want with life.  What dreams do you have?  What purpose were you created for?  What is it that you really want?

Everyone is invited to dream big!

 

Des Moines, IA – May 7, 2007 – It started a year ago as a gathering in Mitch and Melissa Matthews’ home and has grown to a regional event, with 500+ dreamers expected from all corners of Iowa and beyond.

 

“Everyone has a dream,” says head dreamer, Mitch Matthews. “But life has a way of beating down our dreams or calling us silly for having them. The purpose of the Big Dream Gathering is to awaken the dreams of everyone and anyone.”

 

The Big Dream Gathering is a safe place for people to anonymously post their dreams (everyone is assigned a number). Other participants can write words of encouragement or even offer some assistance on the individual dream sheets.

 

If people want to let the world know about their dream(s), there will be 2 blogging stations for people to post their dreams on the web. There will also be a film crew shooting 30 second to 2 minute videos of dreamers talking about their dreams. The videos will then be uploaded to youtube.
