If you recall last week I announced that I had some invites available to The Kirkwood grand opening and ribbon cutting event.  I only gave about a 36 hour notice but ended up having about a dozen people come out to the party–it was great to meet all of you.

There were 10-20 others that would have loved to make it but were unable due to prior commitments.  For all of you, next time I shall provide you with a better notice!

It was great to meet all of you that stopped by to say hi.  It was great to get to talk with so many other people that are as excited about downtown, and everything going on as I am.

If you have a big event coming up–LET ME KNOW.  (josh@downtowndesmoinesblog.com)  If you can provide me with a little bit of an advanced notice we should be able to bring quite the crowd!
