Busy Day
Whew! I met with Jake Christensen with Nelson Development (418 Liberty among other projects), he shared some of what is to come downtown and a little secret about East Village. I also met with Michael Stessman the general manager of inPlay, stopped by the Kirkwood, visited Ligutti Tower, and visited my grandfather at the VA hospital. Oh, and I went to Clear Lake as well….
I’ve got some great stuff here to add, but I’m going to wait until later to post. Little secret about the East Village, something you may not have known about inPlay, as well as a little bit about the direction of downtown from the eyes of a developer.
I will add that I love walking through the city. It’s great to get everything done, and go everywhere that needs going by foot.

You have only tapped the surface of how fantastic walking through downtown Des Moines is. Wait until summer is here and every thing is in full bloom. Wait until Saturday morning when Farmers Market has begun or until NightFall on the River is rocking the bridges….it has barely begun my friend! By the way - your blog is awesome, keep up the good work!!
