Hello All!

I am a member of Art Noir – which is a group that is an affiliate of the Des Moines Art Center. We are ambassadors of the Art Center, but also help expand membership and also develop art appreciation programs….which brings me (and you) to Catalyst State.

Catalyst State is a two day celebration of fashion, built environment and graphic design scheduled for Friday November, 16^th  and Saturday the 17^th.

Friday evening from 8pm until midnight is the fashion show event held at the Temple for the Performing Arts. You must purchase a ticket for this event which at $15 each. Tickets are available at  www.iowaTIX.com . Included with your ticket are fantastic hors d’oevers, special cocktails and wine sampling from Iowa’s own Jasper Winery.

The first 100 guests will receive a free gift bag which will include a variety of information, coupons and other appreciative tokens. Included you will find a beautiful postcard showcasing Des Moines’ most urban, eclectic, hip place to live downtown – The Gateway Lofts! You will also receive one free tickets to Core Magazines one year anniversary party scheduled for Saturday evening.

ON Saturday the 17^th  at the Des Moines Art Center is where the architecture and graphic design forum will be held. This event is from 10am until 4pm with free admission. Several presentations and a film  held in Levitt Auditorium are also scheduled throughout the day. You will find the agenda on the website link above.
