With the Hy-Vee Triathlon and the IOWA outdoor event at the Capitol this weekend was H-U-G-E for downtown Des Moines. Did you miss it? (what were you thinking?!?)

I’m sure you’ve heard of the Hy-Vee Triathlon heading our way on June 17. This one has the LARGEST PRIZE in the history of the sport. Not a bad catch Des Moines.

I am not an early riser, but soon after I woke I heard drums and harmonica music as
well as voices drifting up to my apartment. Living downtown is great, but sometimes sleeping in is hard, because racers need something special to run to or so it seems.
