With the Hy-Vee Triathlon and the IOWA outdoor event at the Capitol this weekend was H-U-G-E for downtown Des Moines. Did you miss it? (what were you thinking?!?)

I spent Sunday afternoon viewing several properties for sale downtown. I got a chance to see:
Ingersoll Square (yep, it’s open although not yet done–maybe 2-4 weeks out)
Equitable ($900,000+ unit!)
SOHO
Mulberry Lofts
Brown Camp AND Tone Lofts (Tone Lofts are amazing!)
Park Place

I don’t know if you’ve caught wind of the news, but Des Moines is feeling the love from Forbes Magazine. They recently ranked Des Moines #4 in their list of the best places for business and career.
