I have received so many winter wonderland pictures that I just cannot post them all. (this is a website about living downtown, not pictures of snow and ice afterall!)
Here’s a few more, these really stood out among the crowd.

More winter weather on the way.  In honor of another chance for the people that don’t yet live downtown to break out their shovels–a few of my nominee’s for best winter pictures.

Did you get any great pictures of Des Moines after this recent rain/ice/snow storm?  I’d like to post them here, so send them in.
With the ice sticking to the trees before it snowed everything was almost surreal looking.  I’ll add a few pics each day this week, there should be some great ones out there.

I’ve never been one for winter. I would much prefer 365 days of heat and humidity over having winter. Spring and fall are okay, but winter is so bad it ruins fall, and makes spring seem too far away.
