There are a few reasons that I was very excited about moving downtown.

 

1. Urban living
2. Walking distance to everything
3. The Views
4. My grandma lives downtown

My grandmother moved downtown about a year ago I think. She has a great little condo that overlooks the East Village, the Capital, the new ice skating rink, the Brownstones on Grand and best of all, the river. I love going up to visit with her and just stare out the window.

 

She sent me this picture of a sunrise from her condo and that got me excited about living downtown as well. Can you get a cool sunrise like that from the middle of suburbia? I think not!

 

So this day as the sun rises look outside! Enjoy that great view, maybe the snow will make it even better. I can only hope that the great view will make up for the bitter cold!
