What an amazing night last night.  The weather was perfect, and it gave me a great chance to get out and take in a little of Downtown flavor at night.

I must give some congratulations, I feel very safe walking the streets of downtown at night.  The Des Moines Police, and anyone else that they work with to keep us safe and crime down have done an excellent job.  Keep up the good work.

The last time I walked around downtown Atlanta I had numerous people approach me, and had another guy tell me he was going to kill me.  When I’m at the Plaza in Kansas City I can’t walk five steps without being approached or harassed.  Those experiences ruin your fun, so thanks to everyone in Des Moines for making the city safe.

I managed to take a few decent pictures, I can tell already I need a new camera.  This one I have isn’t cutting it!
