Downtown Des Moines Advertising

Did you know that this site had over 8,000 hits last month, and should be over 8,000 hits for June as of today?  Every one of those hits are people reading about, looking for information on, or getting excited about downtown Des Moines.  In fact, the traffic has been so great that we’ve had to update our framework, as you saw in a post announcing version 2.0!

I’ve had dozens of people contact me about finding housing downtown, or people that had housing downtown they wanted to sell or lease.  This got me thinking…….maybe I should open up the site to people that want, or need to advertise to people downtown?

So that’s what I’ve done—-best of all, I’ve made it very, very cheap.  For all the details go here.

The majority of the traffic to this site arrives from organic search, meaning they find us on the search engines like yahoo and google.  We’re pretty easy to find because we have very high rankings for almost anything someone would search about downtown Des Moines.  In fact, our site even shows up above many of the property websites downtown, when people search for their building!  Because of our content, keyword distribution and rankings, we’ve climbed all the way up to a page rank of 3, which is fantastic!

All of these things are great, but here’s how they can benefit you:

You can add your web link to our site.  This will increase your traffic, make your site more visible, and greatly increase your own page rank–which will give your search engine results a boost!  And it’s only $25/mo.  No contract, cancel anytime.  It’s easy!

Would you like to move your unit in less than a week, like I helped Craig and Jessica Schuring do?  Or perhaps you’d like to move that unit you’ve been trying to move for months, and months–just like I helped Ben Washburn do as well (with the first lead I sent him)?  Or maybe you want to move units like the Kirkwood has–but you don’t have a whole building, or the budget?  Maybe you’re a realtor and you’re tired of throwing money at the Des Moines Register and seeing no results?

You can have us create a web page on our site showcasing your unit for sale, or lease.  This is a great way to get pictures, information and details to the people that are moving, living, or want to live downtown.  It’s a captive audience!  Not only that, we’ll add a picture to the front page sidebar, and that will increase your visibility, page rank, and build excitement about what you are offering.  The Kirkwood sold 4 units in less than 2 months using this method–except we didn’t offer to set up a page for them on our site!  OR, if you’re looking for something specific we can put what you want together in the same way, and let the people selling, or leasing contact you.  This is cheap too–$50/mo.  No contract, no sweat to cancel anytime.

Do you have a downtown job you’re looking to fill?  Get your job listing on our work page, and have a link on our front page to your job as well.  Easy, cheap, and totally focused on downtown Des Moines.  $50.  One time fee until your job is filled!

If you’d like to know more about the larger picture ads, that include write-ups for your business, project or listings be sure to read more on our advertise page here.

We want to make life easy for you to move your unit, increase your awareness, and bring in more clients to your business!  By advertising in front of people that want to know more about downtown Des Moines, you are saving money by only advertising to people that are interested, and would buy.  You’re not throwing your message out to the wind and hoping that it reaches the people you want it to!

If you have any questions please refer to our advertise page, or email me so I can answer your questions.  Some of these opportunties are limited, so it’s a first come first serve basis.

Hahahahaha, whoops. Thanks for pointing that out! Maybe I should try to run the spell checker next time.
