Downtown Des Moines Thanksgiving Dinner
I’m sure everyone else thinks of one thing when it comes to Thanksgiving just like I do, TURKEY! If you’ve never smoked a turkey, or had a smoked turkey, than you are in fact a turkey. Baking a turkey is for suckers. Smoked turkey is where it’s at.
If you would like a smoked turkey this year I am told our friends at Findlay’s are smoking turkeys for $10. You can bring in your own or buy one from them for $1.49 a pound. Confused? Let me break this down for the haters out there:
- smoke a turkey $10
- buy a turkey for $1.49 a pound
Spots are limited I’ve heard, and you have to reserve your spot by this Saturday. Now besides being downtown Des Moines authority site, you can learn how to have the best Thanksgiving ever here as well!
