Downtown Des Moines Traffic Report

This month we’ve seen quite a large jump in our traffic. In fact, we’re over 5,000 hits already, which is great because September saw a total of 5,400 hits. I have to remind you that the only reason people come to this site is for information about downtown Des Moines. That’s it. So that many hits is awesome!
Only 14% of our traffic is direct. Nearly 70% comes from search engines. That means that 70% of those hits came to us via searching on Google or Yahoo. Here are the top keyword searches that have led people to us. (meaning what they typed into the search engine).

We’ve had over 1,600 visits from over 1,000 absolute unique visitors. 5,297 hits with an average of 3.3 pageviews per visit. Our average visitor is spending 4:11 on the site.
Those numbers are HUGE.
