This is our first installment of a new feature. Each Wednesday I will post a video found on YouTube that features downtown Des Moines. If you have any videos be sure to send me the link so I can post it here (should I choose!).

This first video is a real doozy. Brenton Plaza plays host to many events, even that heart pounding almost-a-sport Roller Derby. I have no idea what Roller Derby is, or what the point of it is, or how you win–but maybe you do. If this is your cup of tea, congrats, Roller Derby downtown!

If not, it’s good for a laugh. (are there guys skating with the girls? hahaha)
