Downtown Legend’s Is Great
I’m hearing nothing negative about Legend’s downtown–people love it. I did receive this however, has anyone else noticed this, or is it a one time thing?

We love Legends
But—–Saturday, a group of eight went to an early lunch at Legends. We were all in agreement this is one of our favorite places on Court Ave. We were shown to our table, and it was not crowded near us, and in general were having a great time. The food was good:, the service quick and polite. We had more food then we could eat, and waitress was very nice. She gave us our checks and we in turn handed her our cards. When she returned with the bills—we were blown away. On each of the four cards we had used was our FULL CARD NUMBER. When we questioned the waitress–she assured us she would relay our concern.
Now I’m sure the management of Legends is honest and trustworthy. We will continue to eat there, but ask that the practice be stopped. In other places all but the final four numbers are x ed out. Please continue to enjoy this great restaurant, but ask the management to discontinue leaving all the numbers on the bills. And black them out ourselves. Yes, we know, as we were told –it is not illegal, just not safe. Nice place to eat, but maybe better with cash.
Anyone else notice this?

You haven’t heard anything negative about Legend’s?? Well, let’s remedy that right now.
Legends is my nemesis. I wouldn’t recommend eating there to save my own mother’s life. It’s an Applebee’s with more televisions– expected in strip mall infested suburbia, not downtown.
I gave it two tries. The wait staff went MIA for long periods of time on both visits. The food was seriously questionable my second visit. Instead, try one of the many non-franchise dining options (i.e. any other place within 15 square blocks).
