I got to spend a few hours outside on Friday, yes I said outside. I spent some time in the sky-walks too, but there were sightings of me walking through the streets of Des Moines.

I finally was freed up long enough to get out and meet a few people on Friday afternoon. So to all of you that I met, thanks for the time! The people of Des Moines, specifically those that work, live or play downtown are great. I have yet to be hassled by anyone–well, there was one guy that wanted $1.00 from me for beer a bus ticket.

One of the goals of this blog is to meet as many people that make up the social fabric of downtown as I can. I want everyone to know what the people that spend time downtown, or live downtown are like. I’m going to introduce them to you, and share my experience with them to you as well.
