I’m sure you’ve heard of the Hy-Vee Triathlon heading our way on June 17.  This one has the LARGEST PRIZE in the history of the sport.  Not a bad catch Des Moines.

One of the readers to this site emailed me something I’d like to make you aware of.

FYI…I got a letter from Hy-Vee yesterday informing me that on the weekend of the triathlon, “vehicles will not have access to many of the major downtown streets from pproximately noon to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday”.

So be aware that parking might be a mess that weekend downtown.  Thanks to Kim for the heads up.

Other note:  anyone know exactly what streets they’re referring to yet?
