Iowa Realty’s Marketing Is Rock Solid

 

Let me get this ad straight. Iowa Realty has done the painstaking legwork to figure out that Las Vegas, Miami, California and Central Iowa are all in different locations. Good for them! We’re too stupid here to figure that out ourselves.

According to IA Realty the time it takes to sell a house is rock-solid steady. What does that mean? How long is rock-solid steady? Is that “longer” or “shorter” than it has been? Or was that part left out “accidently?”

Right now is the best time to buy in years. If you asked I’m sure Iowa Realty would have told you that last year, the year before, the year before etc…….and I’ll bet that next year they’ll tell you the same thing! I wonder if Iowa Realty has ever declared it anything but the best time in years to buy?

Unfortunately for them, Iowa Realty has yet to figure out that sometimes your ads can make you look desperate, greedy, and out of touch.

Do they really think we’re this dumb, or has panic set in at Iowa Realty?

    Hi Josh, thank you for your article. I too saw that ad and was a bit confused. I wonder if we could have some other Realtors give us their professional opinion regarding the statements in that ad and what their views are regarding the housing market right now. My focus is rentals, which is affected by the real estate market, but I am curious to what other thoughts are from other professionals.

    I have never laughed so hard. I guess its a sign of the times.
    Did they farm out this job to a middle school intern?
    How could you put this ad together and think its going to sell homes?
    They need to throw away their 1970’s marketing manual on how to sell homes.

    It’s always the best time to buy! Unlike every other industry in the world, the Iowa Real Estate market only goes up. It never slows down, its always the best. You never have times where you need to be more careful.

    We are in a new age, where customers can get online and research themselves. You need to be real, upfront and honest. Not use all these terms like “ROCK SOLID.”

    Hey don’t forget they are the company selling a lot of downtown condos and lofts. So if you want ads like this to bring buyers to your front door, don’t forget to call up Iowa Realty and tell them #1 Hater sent you.
