KCCI Reports on Living Downtown

Last night, Tuesday Feb. 27 KCCI ran the first part in a special series about living downtown.  I was impressed.

They spoke with three people that have made the move downtown, and let each of them talk about why they did it, and what they love about living downtown.  They even spoke with the man that was asked to help turn downtown into a great place to live.

Each person shared what they loved, and why they chose downtown.  The first man lived at Brown Camp Lofts, near Principal Park, they spoke to a woman from New York that has moved into the East Village, and they spoke with a man that moved into the Kirkwood hotel.  Each person shared about how much they loved the urban lifestyle, and how much they loved where they lived.

I was very impressed with the quality of work that KCCI put into the piece.  I was even more surprised to hear that part 2 was coming on tonight, Wed. the 28th.  Tonight they are going to show off a few of the places you can live downtown–which I’m sure you’ve already seen here–or will see here shortly!

If you missed it, follow this link and you can watch the report on your computer.

You’ll have to find the Downtown Living report and drag it to your playlist.  Not hard, but I want to let you know.  It’s in the news section, in case you pull up a different section when you go to the page!

What do you think of the report?  Was it fair, accurate?  Would you like me to add to anything they’ve said?
