Midtown Heights Townhomes
Have you heard about the new project under construction called Midtown Heights? Located at 2100 High Street at a price that many downtown have been wanting!! One of the list agents sent me their press release which I will share with you here.
The Midtown Heights development will consist of attractive three-story townhomes that range in price from $177,900 to $189,900. Each home’s exterior will feature its own unique color and design with a generous number of windows and a private entrance and deck. A 10-year tax abatement makes these homes an affordable investment, allowing homebuyers to purchase more home for less money. The tax abatement makes Midtown Heights an attractive housing option for young professionals working in the downtown area.
The townhomes will offer two spacious floor plans consisting of 1135 and 1203 square feet of living space and attached two-car garages. Not having to brave the rain, snow or bitter winter cold to get to your car is a welcome convenience not commonly found in most downtown developments. Granite kitchen counters and hardwood floors will accent the open design of these residences. Each kitchen will be equipped with beautiful stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Additionally, a breakfast bar will make these kitchens a great place to cook a gourmet meal or entertain friends and family.
Two bedrooms feature tray ceilings, walk-in closets and, best of all, private full bathrooms. A laundry room is handily situated near the bedrooms. This is just another illustration of how Hubbell designs their homes with the buyer’s comfort and convenience in mind.
Midtown Heights is currently pre-selling and, while model units are not expected to open until mid-February 2008, there is a similar development available they can show you. The project is being marketed by Burnett Realty and project directors Jenn Clark (515.208.2255) and Rob Langloss (515.991.0734) would be happy to walk you through a model and answer any questions you have about the development. Rob and Jenn are successful Realtors at Burnett Realty with the expertise and know-how to help your buying process be less stressful and more successful.
And now you know.

The square footage sounds perfect along with the attached garage. That is very nice! I’m curious - what is a “tray ceiling”? The tax abatement will really help. Does anyone know how many units they are building and does anyone have their hands on a site plan? I just hope they don’t end up looking like those cookie cutter “Jerry’s Homes”! Yikes!

“Midtown Heights is currently pre-selling” - Did anyone else catch that?
Hmmm, 400 units for sale downtown, 3 sold last month—let see better get that check book out before someone else wants to buy in the prime area of HIGH street. (hahaha)
“A laundry room is handily situated near the bedrooms. This is just another illustration of how Hubbell designs their homes with the buyer’s comfort and convenience in mind.” - ???????? Did an 8 year old write this?
I’m going to go out on a limb here, but if hubbell cared about a buyers confort, why did they build in a crappy area like High Street? I think for my comfort and convenience I would like to be located where I dont have to take the rims off my car when I get home to make sure I have them when I wake up.

#1 Hater…I saw you on TV before. I know you are the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I thought you had changed your ways, but obviously, the old self is back.
Poor Cindy Lou Who…I bet she is sad that you are such a crab again.

Here’s their website for anyone interested …
http://www.midtownheightsdm.com/
I’ll be interested in seeing the floor layouts which they don’t have on their website yet — but they do have more info, like number of units, cost, etc.

Thanks for passing the website on Rob! Well - they have a little more character then Jerry’s homes. Wish there were more windows on the back side. But anything will be an improvement for that area. Love the tuck under garages! That takes cars off of the street which is always a good thing!

Floor plans will be added to the web site soon as will interior shots of similar product. Some of the changes to the floor plans will change window placement. Check back soon for more updates to the site.
Trina, to answer your questions - there are 17 units & a tray ceiling is a ceiling w/more than one “layer” - i.e. part of the ceiling is higher in the center than the rest - similar to a cut out.

Thank you Jenn! Can’t wait to see the finished product. The ceilings sound really cool.
