(downtown Des Moines favorite Grandmother!!!)

As I walked home from the Village Market I hear music. The sound was carrying all around downtown so I headed toward the beat.   Behind the Embassy Suites they were setting up booths and checking out the sound system.  No wonder I could hear it for blocks,  look at the size of those speakers!

 

 

I’m sorry I didn’t get the name of the group playing tonight. Since I am a little old for this kind of music, I came home.  But looking out of my window, this evening,  I can see  people were sitting on the
grass listening to the music.  I’m sure a good time will be had by all.  Check out the groups playing for the rest of the summer, you might enjoy the concerts.
