I received an email last week from the volunteer coordinator for Oktoberfest telling me about a volunteer opportunity. Not only can you volunteer, but it’s for a good cause as well.

Des Moines’ favorite fall festival is back and ready for you to participate and help raise money for Variety - The Children’s Charity! We are honored to be partnering with Hessen Haus to provide volunteers for the event.

All tip money collected throughout the night and $1 of each paid admission will be donated to Variety.

So grab a friend or two and come volunteer! You’ll get free admission to the event, an event t-shirt and 2 beer tickets to enjoy some great German Biers.
