Researching Downtown Des Moines

Would you like to help out with people researching downtown Des Moines? I received this email earlier this week, a new local market research firm wants our help!

Harvest Research Center, a local market research firm, is conducting a study regarding downtown living and what the residents who live there like, don’t like, need, think of the revitalization, etc. We are not looking to sell anything, but looking for individuals to participate in focus groups to discuss these matters. The people who participate will also be compensated $60 for their time.

We will be looking for individuals who meet certain criteria:

· Between 25 – 34, 44 – 49, 50 plus

· Have lived in Des Moines at least 5 years

· Within the past two years, have moved to a residence in downtown Des Moines

· Are very likely to keep living downtown.

Harvest would like a mix of renters and owners of various residence types - condos, lofts, apartments. You will be required to participate in a Focus Group where you will provide your opinion and discuss topics about downtown living at our facility (which is also located downtown) on September 18, from 5:30 to 7:00 in the evening. You will be part of an exciting Grand Opening event where key individuals and business leaders in the Des Moines area will be attending and watching these “live” focus groups in action to see what Harvest Research Center does and what downtown resident’s thoughts and needs are.

Our goal is to have actual, live focus groups regarding a topic of interest to the whole Des Moines community, so that our guests can see what we do at our research firm.

Anyone interested can contact Shane Francis or Teresa Grantham at Harvest Research Center at: 243-0785.

Thank you in Advance for any help and interest.
