I was sent this information this week, and thought it would be great to share. Great service is hard to find these days, and when someone, or some company goes out of their way to meet your needs that should be celebrated.

I wanted to let you know about an experience I had at River Bend Trading Company, the grocery store on Court Avenue. I stopped in to purchase a few items to bake a cake, but they were out of eggs! That’s usually a problem when baking a cake.

Upon hearing my problem a nice man pokes his head around the corner and tells me he’ll zip over to High Life Lounge and get me the eggs that I need. Now that it like 3 blocks away–so I was surprised to say the least. Sure enough, a few minutes later he’s back and gives me the eggs I needed, and best of all he did it for no charge!

Customer service like this needs to be shared, because it’s rare, and it deserves to be rewarded. Because of my experience I’ll be shopping at River Bend Trading Company more often, and by more often I mean probably every day!
