Slooooowwwww Weekend
With the state wrestling tourney going on at Wells Fargo arena this weekend, and Ed Wilson’s declaration of doom on the weather front, not a whole lot to do.
I mean, it is raining, which makes the roads so darned slick…………..

I didn’t notice the weather was different…I’m an Iowan. The snow/sleet/rain/hail mix is just a part of what they call “normal winter driving conditions” isn’t it? Especially when the High Schoolers are in town for their state finals. That’s part of the fun!
Living downtown is great! I am going to the Des Moines Junior Women’s auction tonight at the Mariott and I don’t even need my coat! I can get there on the skywalk in just a few minutes, no matter what the weather. Got groceries in the cupboards and a beautiful view of all the stuff falling from the sky.
