I’ve had the opportunity to sit down with Jake Christensen twice now, he’s with Nelson Construction and more importantly for this story, Nelson Development.  He is also a soon to be downtown resident, he’s moving his family into 418 Liberty (yes, his building) very soon.

This time Jake gave me a great teaser to give to you.  I mentioned it last week–here it goes.  And yes, I do have to be vague.

Nelson Development is working on a project in the East Village that they are getting ready to announce.  The project will be right at the height limits for the view corridor, in fact, the elevator shafts will exceed the 75 ft limit, which is legal.  The building will be newly built, and will fit in (in my opinion) perfectly with what’s going on in the East Village.  Keep your eyes and ears open for a big announcement coming soon!

Jake also shared that Riverpoint West just landed a huge tenant, and they have wrapped up a couple other big names as well.  That project is moving along well, and will be an amazing addition downtown.
