What’s The Deal With The 2AM Train
Has anyone noticed that the train moving through downtown Des Moines at 2AM blares the horn 1,0o0 times more than all of the other trains that go through all day combined?
So which is it, is it that he’s following the rules, regulations and laws correctly, or is it that he’s a wise guy (to keep things clean)?
If it’s the law then why is he the only one that uses his horn like it’s his last time? Or if he’s a jerk, why doesn’t he get in trouble?
Do you know why this guy is such a pest? Inquiring minds want to know……..

Yeah I have noticed that one train that makes more noise then all the rest combined. The funny thing is, there is no traffic at that time, and all the rest of the trains go by at heavy traffic times. Donny

From what I had previously heard, it was the law for that guy to do that. I’m not buying it though, otherwise all trains would have to!

I’ve never thought of it that way at all. After living at BrownCamp and The Plaza, I kind of miss it now that I live at 418 Liberty. I know I’m probably the exception, but it was something comforting in a way. I liked hearing it, even at 2 a.m. Must be because of the love my grandfather had for trains…who knows. LOL
