When did you move downtown?

I moved downtown in June of 2005.

 

Why did you decide to move downtown?

I moved downtown to be close to work and to have a maintenance-free home.  I had been renting for several years and was ready to own.

What do you do for fun?

I enjoy the farmer’s market, biking on the Neal Smith and Great Western trails, jogging or walking on the Meredith trail to Gray’s Lake, going out on Court Ave, wandering around the East Village.

 

What do you love about downtown?

I love that it is in the middle of everything and something is always going on.

 

Is there anything that downtown needs?

I would have said a grocery store, but we are finally getting one! Now I would love a small movie theater.  A little ice cream shop would be fun too.

 

Would you recommend downtown living?  Why?

Absolutely! It really is fun and convenient and so many new things are opening all the time. It is an exciting time to live downtown.
